Chief Financial Officer
Chris has worked as Chief Financial Officer for a number of public companies listed on the ASX and AIM, primarily resources focused. He has been responsible for the day to day financial and administrative operations together with the statutory reporting and compliance obligations of these organisations. He has a B.Com and is a Chartered Accountant.
General ManagerTrevor was country Managing Director of PPC Ltd’s business in Zimbabwe and separately the DRC for numerous periods over the last 20 years, where most recently he was responsible for the construction of a 1 million tonne per annum cement business in the DRC at an estimated cost of USD300 million, and subsequent Managing Director of the business. The project was completed in the first quarter of 2017. PPC Ltd is a leading supplier of cement, lime and related products in southern Africa.
Consultant, Metallurgy, Process Design
Mike is a practising metallurgist with over 46 years experience in mineral processing ranging from R&D, operations, management and latterly project design, construction and commissioning. Minerals exposure includes alumina, phosphate, gold, copper, tin and lithium. Mr Kitney has specific experience in spodumene beneficiation and downstream lithium carbonate plant design, construction and commissioning. He also holds an MSc degree in Mineral Economics.
General Manager, Corporate Affairs
Nick is an Australian capital markets executive with more than 8 years’ experience in investor relations, stockbroking and banking. He was most recently head of Investor Relations for an ASX listed company, where he was responsible for investor communication over a period where the company developed its operational capabilities and delivered significant revenue growth. He holds a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan University and is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Roger is a British geologist, who after almost 30 years working experience in Africa, is now Technical Director for Farvic Consolidated Mines. He has an Honours degree in Mining Geology from the Royal School of Mines and a Master of Engineering in Mineral Resource Estimation from Witwatersrand University. Roger worked for 15 years as a geologist in various African countries and later as a Senior Resource Analyst for Anglo American Corporation. Most recently however, he was Anvil Mining’s DRC exploration manager and led the programme which resulted in the development of the new Kinsevere mine. He is a shareholder in Farvic and Prospect Resources.
Nixon has a substantial and diverse mine planning, and mine management background that complements a very rounded leadership style. Nixon has been involved in establishing starter mines and brings a series of operational readiness and mine planning strengths. Nixon will be primarily focussed on grade control, blast and fragmentation of the lithium bearing minerals, and efficiency of mining
Consultant Marketing and Off-take
David is a mining engineer, with over 35 years’ experience in the resources industry. He has held a number of mine management positions in Australia as well as business development and marketing roles in companies and projects in Australia and southern Africa. David has over 10 years’ experience in the lithium industry since joining Sons of Gwalia as General Manager Strategic Development in 2006. He has been involved in the evaluation and early expansions of the Greenbushes lithium mine, the listing of Talison Lithium on the TSX as well as the evaluation of lithium projects around the world, market analysis and the marketing of lithium products.
Mine Plant Manager
John is a consummate Metallurgical Engineer with 23 years of extensive knowledge and practical experience in projects, production and operations management. He was involved in various operations in Australia and Africa and he is specialised in flotation circuits, Dense medium separation (DMS/HMS), X-ray transmission (XRT), X-ray luminescence (XRL), metallurgical accounting, process improvement and simulations, and Plant commissioning.
